Development on ECoachs began in June of 2008. At the time the company behind ECoachs, was working with travel agents across London to integrate third party booking engines, including the popular Booking Engine, and to develop tools to make it easy for travel agents to manage their in-house specials or electronic flatsheets.

ECoachs had developed several precursor products to ECoachs including several add-on modules to the popular ECoachs CMS platform.
